THE FRAME / A PRACTICAL GUIDE
How to make a video from an image.
A strong starting frame gives your scene a place to begin. A clear motion prompt tells it where to go.
01. Pick a frame with a clear subject
Choose an image with the person or subject easy to see. Leave room in the composition for movement. Use only an image you own or have permission to use, and make sure every depicted person is an adult.
02. Describe what moves
Start with one action: a turn toward the camera, a walk across the room, or the movement of fabric in a breeze. Add a camera direction and a note about the light. Short, specific instructions are a useful first experiment.
“She turns toward the window as the camera slowly moves closer. Warm light fills the room.”
03. Choose your settings
In the image-to-video workspace, select an available model and review its settings and credit cost before generating. Options can vary by model and plan.
04. Refine the next take
If the motion is too busy, describe fewer actions. If the scene feels static, specify a small movement of the subject or camera. Your generated results appear in your account.
